Make sure to check out our YouTube Channel for TONS of videos and workouts!

We hope you enjoy!

Before we begin, have you seen our new GymnasticsHQ Coloring & Activity Book? It has 50 pages of fun coloring pages and activities to keep your gymnast busy.

Handstand and Press Handstand Training Packets – These new and exclusive GymnasticsHQ Training Packets have over 15 pages of resources to perfect the most important skill in gymnastics – the handstand, and it’s upgrade, the press handstand. You don’t want to miss out on these!

Home Workout Plans – Can’t make it to your gym for a few weeks? Check out these Home Gymnastics Workout Plans to help you keep up your strength and conditioning and help you stay in top shape for each event. They come in different levels of difficulty.

Skill Challenges – Challenge yourself to a skill challenge. Color in the stars for every 10 skills you do and see if you can make it to 1000 (or 100 in the case of press handstands)! This is a great way to get in daily practice time.

Motivational Coloring Pages – Who doesn’t love a little coloring when they’re stuck home? Here are some gymnastics motivational coloring sheets for you to print out and color in. Remember too – a large part of improving in gymnastics is working on your mindset. The more you can spend during this down time focusing on your mindset, the better! Color these in and hang them up as a gentle reminder that mindset is everything.

Printable Gymnastics Games – We created a Gymnastics Bingo game for up to 8 players as well as other printables you can do if you’re stuck at home and want something fun to do.

Skills Coloring Pages –  We have some skills based coloring sheets that are fun to print out and color in. You can also use this pictures on your Vision Board or paste them into your GymnasticsHQ Mindset Meet Journal.

Gymnastics Activities Bundle – Want something more than just coloring to do? Check out these fun sheets with a crossword puzzle, word search, ad libs, and more!

Watch a Gymnastics Movie – Need something to do when you’re all out of ideas? Well, we’d rather you get outside or practice the dance part of your routines, but a little motivational movie is a nice change of pace too. We recommend Full Out, based on Arianna Berlin’s life story, as a first choice for some great motivation. The Gabby Douglas Story and The Simone Biles Story: Courage to Soar are great too. Just remember to check the rating. Stick It is PG-13 and is not appropriate for all audiences.

SkillTrakker Challenge – If your gym is closed for a few weeks or you just need something extra to do while you’re home, check out our SkillTrakker Community. It’s an online community of over 1300 gymnasts who work on daily and monthly gymnastics challenges at home and earn points for each challenge. Themes change every month.

  • Is there a way I can learn to do a backhandspring at home in 30 days. I have a really strong back walkover and I was so close to getting my backhandspring but then my gym closed

    • First, make sure your shoulders are very strong by doing lots of handstands, walking on hands, popping off hands, and handstand snap downs. Then, make sure your legs are very strong by jumping backward from the floor onto a crash mat or mattress on the floor and landing in a hollow position on your back, as far from your starting point as possible. If you have a foam barrel that is at least waist height when it is on its side, set it immediately behind you at one end of a gymnastics mat. Jump backward across the barrel, reaching hard, with taught arms, for the mat. The barrel will catch your back as you jump backward, taking some of the impact off your arms. After social distancing is no longer required, a 16+ year old competitive gymnast or former competitive gymnast in your area might be willing to spot you a few times if you demonstrate the necessary strength in your handstand and backward jumping drills. He/she will support your back and shoulder to make sure your arms don’t collapse on impact. If you already have the necessary strength, you will learn the coordination and timing to do a back handspring on your own fairly quickly.

  • I learned to do my back handspring at my gym but then it closed and I lost it during social distancing. I recommend either waiting so you dont get hurt, getting spotted from parents, or doing it on a mattress and panel mat on the floor. That is how i relearned mine. Now at the age of 9 i am doing round-off back handsprings all around my house!! Hope this helps!

  • Im trying to get my front Ariel I already have my side one. But i'm stuck at because my brother was exposed the Covid but im negative. I was wondering on how to get closer to my front ariel, i have a mat too. And since it is competition season i wasnt really able to practice at the gym anyway. If you have any tips Pls tell me.

  • i don't want to do baby colouring things, i actually want to do something that includes gymnastics skills.
