1. Mindset & Meet Journal

Coming in at #1 we have parents raving about how much more confident their gymnasts are after using our journal! Gymnasts perform better and improve their mindset after going through the activities.

2. Mat & Beam Set

We love the quality of this beam and mat set – and your gymnast will love it too while she is practicing her gymnastics skills at home! This is the perfect combo for your gymnast to work on one of events that gymnasts often find more challenging, which will help her overall confidence in the gym. You can also purchase the beam and mat separately.

3. GymnasticsHQ’s Skill Progression Checklists

Help your gymnast reach her goals, improve her skills and advance to the next level with skill progression checklists. Different checklists available for different levels. These checklists are great for keeping your gymnast on track for her skill progressions.

4. SkillTrakker Subscription

SkillTrakker is an awesome home program where your gymnast will improve with just 15 minutes a day of extra practice at home. Working on both physical skills as well as mental aspects of gymnastics, gymnasts rave that SkillTrakker has helped them not only improve their meet scores but also improve in their confidence and mindset.

5. Junior Bar Pro

This is a great piece of equipment to have at home for your gymnast to improve her skills and confidence on bars. She can not only work on things like pull-ups and strengthening skills, but she can work on her cast height, kips, back hip circles, etc! This is a particularly helpful tool for gymnasts learning their kip.

6. Air Beam

The air beam or an air track are also great pieces of equipment to work on skills at home. The air beam is a great beginner tool for when you’re working on a new skill but not quite ready to put it on the floor beam. The air track is a great tool for tumbling skills to perform safely.

7. Simone Biles Master Class

This is definitely a great tool to have. Simone Biles is surely considered to be an inspiration to any gymnast – new gymnasts just starting out as well as seasoned gymnasts. In her Master Class, she teaches gymnastics fundamentals, in a very relatable, down to earth way. Gymnasts will hang on every word she has to say in her course and they will realize that EVERY gymnast faces some of the same struggles.

8. Floor Bar Trainer

This is an excellent tool for gymnasts who are wanting to work on pirouettes or their handstands on bars. These skills take a lot of practice and the more your gymnast practices, the better. These are great for learning the body positioning and feelings of achieving the handstand or pirouette while maintaining the grip on a bar.

9. Back Handspring Trainer

Just what the name implies, this is a great piece of equipment for your gymnast to work on back handsprings at home, safely. We all know how difficult this skill can be to master and how gymnasts are always wanting to work on this skill at home. This way, they can do it safely!

10. Wedge Mat

This mat is one of the best beginner pieces of home equipment to have in your home gym. It’s a great tool to practice backward rolls, back walkovers, back extension rolls, etc while at home. These are sometimes tricky beginner skills and definitely helpful to be able to work on them at home!

  • Hi I started gymnastics when I was 4 but I'm barely a level 4. And it's been 8 years. Is there anything I can do to move up quicker?

    Please reply

    • Don't worry, i'm in a similar situation. I've been practicing at a gym with a coach from 3-5. When I was 6 I started myself in my school playground on the grass and did that every year in the spring and summer until 9. Ive done a little at 10 and 11 and now really working on it at 12. I think im only level 2 on floor, but everything else 0.
