But here's the good news: It can get better!
Getting better at gymnastics takes time, consistency, and practice. But not just any practice. Focused, skill-specific practice. Sure, you go the gym and you work on your drills and skills with your coaches. But in the gym there is a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time. You can't train EVERYTHING all at once and most of the time it's those big skills that you're spending all of your time on. As a result, those little skills get lost in the shuffle.
One of those little skills is the Split Leap.
Now don't be fooled into thinking a split leap is just a "little" skill. Did you know that a split leap is in EVERY beam and floor routine in Level 3 and up?! Did you know that split leaps are a skill where many gymnasts get multiple deductions?! Not only are you expected to have perfect form on your split leap, you're also supposed to get good height and distance. Yikes!
That's Where The FREE 5 Day Split Leap Challenge Comes In
Knowing how important a Split Leap is to your routines, we've put together a 5 Day Challenge where you'll learn drills created specifically to increase your form in your split leap.
So how exactly does this work?
Each day you'll get:
-3 different exercises that you'll do at home (no equipment required). You'll practice these drills for less than 20 minutes each day for 5 days. At the end of the 5 days you'll see how much more confident you feel about your split leap.
